Thanos is an investment professional in Banking & Finance, mobilizing capital to support private sector trade, energy and IT dedicated to apply an impact-driven and responsible investment approach as a Signatory of the Principles for Responsible Investment Initiative.
The last 22 years, he sources, prepares and executes deals together with development banks, agencies, commercial lenders and Private Equity firms. He arranges long-term loans and equity participation on a project and company level, trade finance solutions and provides advisory services and business development for greenfield and brownfield projects.
He has worked as an Economist in the National Investment Bank for Industrial Development as investment and corporate officer, capital markets analyst, private wealth manager and director of investments for corporations. He serves as a Loan and PRI Originator for EDN, a Program of OPIC, a U.S. Government’s Development Finance Institution.
He holds a CFA designation from the Bank of Greece, a MBA in Financial Management from the Business School of Hull University, a BBA from the Business School of European University and is certified from the EDN-Moody's Analytics Finance & Political Risk Insurance Training and from the International School of Private Equity, IFF in London. Thanos leads the Project Finance business for the company.
